My video game fitness blog!

Post by daratmastah on Thu Jan 17, 2013 1:22 pm

Hey guys, posted this over at BWC when I came back the other day before I found out it was dying/full of spammers, but a bit of shameless promotion!(don't worry, I don't spam =P)

I started a blog a year or two ago about empowering and encouraging gamers to get in shape by emulating their favorite video game characters. Typically I put up a couple non-character-based posts a week(just general fitness or self improvement stuff), and then I'll break down a character, going over what makes them, "them," with a basic workout program, skills breakdown, and psychological analysis.

If you're interested in checking it out, you can find it at http://beagamecharacter.com/ I'd love some feedback and/or criticism(or, if you'd like to see me do a character I haven't done yet, you can always suggest one!).

Thanks!

I see you have a post about kale chips! Cool. I've made them before, but for the absolutely tiny amount of energy one can get from them, I don't bother going to the trouble any more. They are definitely good though, but I simply throw my kale into my stir fry now.

I like them just for the "munchies" factor. Frequently I like to snack on something when I'm gaming/writing/whatever and they're nice to just toss in a bowl, or throw in a lunchbox.
