Food Logs?

Post by Jon on Tue Mar 05, 2013 11:32 pm

I think it's great that there are public training logs on this forum. It's a great way to track your progress, keep yourself accountable, as well as receive and give advice/encouragement. But what about the same thing with eating? :eat2: I know that it could be a little more cumbersome to log everything you eat everyday, but I think it might have the same merits as a training log. I think it might even help people pin point what has worked best for them as they look back on previous days, weeks, and so on.

Or is it just not necessary? I know eating habits come up pretty often throughout various threads, but it's just an idea.

I've been using "lose it" on the web and as an app for just over a month now and have found it very useful. Makes it very easy to track your food.

Correct on both points. Much more cumbersome but highly meritorious. The question is are you going to be interested enough to read the food logs of others? Probably not, if you're like most people. We actually voted on this a while back and only two out of a dozen or so who voted were interested in seeing a food log section created. I think what you need is something like the 2013 Eat Clean Challenge.

Post in there and get to know GreekPT and TMK (TheMasterKey) among others. Hold each other accountable, just if Phil (GreekPT) does happen to decide to go for the chocolate, you better not get between them if you value your arm, leg, or whatever appendage is in his way. :right:
