What do you mean partitioned?  As in multiple rounds of a pullup, pushup, squat circuit?  Like Greek did, 4/8/12? And darn right I'll vote for it.

Alright well if any wants to call bull, ill invest in a go pro and prove you wrong. Like I said, I threw up once, shaking and dizzy right now, and sweated through my hat! I wore a hat so every push up the cap hit the ground, every pull up it cleared the bar and squats I bent my knees passed the 90 degree angle.

The Murph
No weight vest tho...
1mile Run
100 Pullups
200 Pushups
300 Squats
1mile Run

Partitioned into 5/10/15.

Times

1mile Run: 6:14

20 Rounds
-5 Pullups
-10 Pushups
-15 Squats
Time: 15:43

1mile Run: 7:39

Total Time: 29:46 (by the time I got back to my pullup bar aka the starting point)

Cheers TMK.

Today's martial arts endeavours.

1hr JKD
Trapping
Trapping locks
Trapping throws and locks
Sparring

1hr MT
Punch countering
Kick countering
Sparring

1hr Kali/Silat
Single stick
Combo progression
Single stick and knife
Open hand

Turns out I'm quite good at sparring. And I thoroughly enjoyed it. Kicked a 6ft something guy in the head with a double kick and caught him out on all his kicks and t's :p my MT stance is very good so I had good defense and strikes from it and was able to catch my sparring partner in a few clinches. Gonna start going to actual sparring classes in a month or two when I'm even better.

You're the guy I like sparring with- someone that's good and likes to spar. I see good times ahead. Just don't get stuck in sparring mentality if you ever really need to use your skills (for good :laugh1: )

That means you're quick. Unless you have an iron jaw and can take a hit and then hit back - that's not good. Your brain doesn't like that...

My teacher has a background in it and he teaches it in JKD and MT. I was looking at heavily studying it from books then getting private lessons every now and then to learn and develop it, and try to teach it to my younger bro and getting him to develop it with me by sparring and stuff.

That doesn't work. It would like studying a book about how to hit a baseball. Somethings you just have to DO.

Well, there's not many teachers left that will let you sweep the floors and keep the school clean for lessons. But, it may be worth asking.

Hope you get another job because life happens easier when you have a little money.

100 pull ups
200 push ups
300 squats
1mile run

1st Mile = 6:52

-15 squats
= 22:27

29:46. Wow, that's impressive right there Rix!! Not sure what you mean by hat touched the ground or cleared the bar though.

If Sept is Murph month, that would be cool, I can channel my marathon anger into Murph mastery. : ) Well maybe get it under 35:00 or so.

Cheers mike. They i vary the volume when I wear a weight vest.

I also enjoy your workout list and may steal some from it from time to time.
I have no doubt that type of training would make anyone awesomely fit, strong and ready to fight in martial arts
