Recommend something healthy snacks to offer at my graduation party?

Post by Guitar_maniac on Tue Mar 19, 2013 7:08 am

Something easy to make, there's about 15-20 people coming, all friends, aged 20-25. I'm already making pizza slices, So for balance i thought to make something healthy for people to eat. Salads of course are an option, but i'm unemployed at the time, it would cost pretty much to make a huge bowl of chicken salad, and i doubt my friends would eat "just salad" without any chicken.

celery and cream cheese is nice and very easy to prepare.

Cheese with/and/or fruit on cocktail sticks.

frozen bananas :D.

mini sandwhiches with a sliced of boiled egg.

Cucumber subs, cut the cucumber in half and add a lil tuna << so yummy.

vegatbale kebabs, peppers, onions etc.

mini pancakes.

Eggs and potatoes - cook potatoes, then fry them and crack an egg into them.

Pitta bread and homous << try adding lemon and corriander to the homous. or just lemon and olive oil.

Tortilla chips and home made salsa << easy to make, boil water with tomatoes, peppers and some chilli powder.

Nope, never ate them together. And I never heard of a sandwich that combines them, but it seems great!
