Homemade Protein Shakes Without Powder

Hey everyone. Just wanted to share a shake I just made. Pretty dang tasty, and seems like it's got some pretty good stuff in it.

8oz skim milk
1 banana
3 tbsp plain oatmeal
2 tbsp dry peanut butter

Blend it all together and chug. Pretty good! :chef:

Anyone else have any "protein shake, hold the powder" recipes? Or any suggestions on how to improve on this one?

Replace the skim milk by whole milk and it's gonna be even better! :mrgreen:

Blend some cottage cheese in, ground flax seed or pumpkin seeds, be creative!

Exactly what ili said. I heard that skimmed milk is not full fat so it sits on your body more and whole fat milk burns off naturally. Something like that.

Full fat milk
Almond butter
Oats
Banana
Blueberrys
Linwoods milled stuff (pumpkin, sesame, sunflower and flax seeds with goji berries)

Had that recently and it's banging. I don't bother to measure. Just get a hand full and throw it at the shaker. Whatever goes in is the right measurement haha. My bottle has a metal ball and it whisks things nice and smooth.

Banana Tofu Pudding

Yes, I know, the dreaded Tofu. Every once in a while, it won't be too bad !

3-4 bananas
1 packet of soft tofu
soy milk (if you have nothing against lactose, real milk)
raw cocoa cocoa beans

Blend it, and njoy !

I tend to go for:
1 banana
1 avacado or scoop of peanut butter (although I have to be careful, because I've noticed my natural peanut butter stresses out my hand blender engine)
frozen berries
sunflower seeds
1 tsp of flax oil
freshly squeezed orange juice.

I've also tried cocoa beans too - mmmmm.....
