Elbow cracking

Post by Thunder on Fri May 24, 2013 8:14 am

Hello guys, i am still around but don't have much time. Will continue my training log when i finish my exams.

I got a pull up bar last week and every time when i go down when doing pull up i hear that cracking in my left elbow.
Noticed that last year when i was doing with some weights.

It doesn't hurt but it's not nice to hear it every time I do a pull up.
I can still hear it when i just stretch my hand without weights but a bit less than when i am doing pull ups.

Can it be cured or it's a physical deformation of elbow?

I think it's normal...

When I was younger everything used to crack lol...

I think it will go away on its own.

Your 19 like me thunder? Basically it could be a few things. When your older they crack coz they grind against each other or something. But when your young they crack because your joints are still adjusting so they create lil vacuum pockets of nitrogen every now and then and crack. Should thoroughly warm your elbows and knees up before working out. I have really bad elbows and knees so I know a lil. I have uneven bands in my joints are something, doctor said time will heal and adequate exercise and warm up will aid.

My elbow locks up into position. I force it straight and it opens. It doesn't hurt but makes a loud crack. And that's why ^^^^ well like you said... Hopefully. Ill might make a video on what I was advised to do - elbow, neck, shoulders and knee movements. I have a twisted spine and crap posture.
