Now juggling flaming rhinos really would be something.

Chased inside by storms

5 rounds of rotating planks
plank
side plank l
side plank r
short bridge
:45 each :10 to switch

Added weight to my sandbag before the rain came in. It's now 140 lbs.

Up to 18 reps on the daily squats and pushups. Still doing GTG on the partial pull ups every day. I've been getting between 4 and 10 depending on how many trips I take down the driveway.

I'd nearly forgotten about rotating planks. Your log has reminded me how much I used to love the pain! Will definitely be giving them a go in the near future.

Awsome workouts mate and great dedication to the Pullups. Stick with the GTG.

Finally dried out enough so I could get out an get the work in. I did get rained on a little during the carries.

AMRAP shoulder 135lb sandbag 20 minutes - 15 Reps

3 nice and slow negative chins

50 yard OHC 100# sandbag

200 yard Back carry 100# sandbag - quick pace

Day 23 for pushups and squats. Haven't got as may chins in as I would like the last couple of days due to the weather.

First time with the heavier bag so I went conservative at 1 rep per minute, failed on 15, rested for a couple of minutes then got the 15th one in.

WU

20 Minutes shouldering 135# bag - 20 reps.

Stretch

Day 28 on pushups and squats
Still GTG on the partial chins every day.

Set the timer and did one a minute. Instead of counting reps, I counted sets of five. I think it helped me psyche myself out a little bit 'cause that third no. 5 went up a lot easier than no. 15 last Sunday. Everything after the 16minute mark involved a lot of snarling and growling. Moving up to 2 reps a minute next time.

WU

135# Sandbag - Shoulder AMRAP in 20 min.
9 reps

100# sandbag

OHC 50 yards out B hug 50 yards back - 2 times

2x 50 yards B hug

Stretch

last session with the bag I felt strong as an Ox and was ready to move up to two reps a minute. Tonight I failed on the 1st rep and had to psyche up to get the nine. Last time I was tired and made myself train, tonight I'm all rested and refreshed. Go figure.

Day 31 on squats and pushups
I'm going to lay off the GTG partial chin-ups for a couple of days.
Been hitting them everyday and feel like I'm close, but I became "aware" of my elbows today.

I'm here. I've been fighting of some bug and working a heck of a lot. The combination of the two has left me pretty drained the last couple of weeks. Woke up one morning with shoulder pain so I laid off the daily pushups and squats for 4-5 days but otherwise I've managed to keep up with those. Feeling pretty sporty right now so Shouldering and carries will re-appear this week.

WU

20 Minutes AMRAP shoulder 135# Sandbag - 21 reps

Day 43 - pushups and squats

Isometrics - Boxer neck exercises

So... now I know I'm feeling better. Did 2 a minute for the first couple of minutes, failed at minute 19, Tried and failed again on minute 20. Still not GTG on the chin-ups, I'm following Amit's advice from last year, "When your elbows feel good again, wait another week"

Yes, I've found elbows are tricky things.  I have to be careful of my right one, myself.  When it gets cranky I've learned through hard experience that the elbow is the boss.

Stretch

6x50 yard Bearhug carry

Farmers walk
1x100 yard
2x50 yard
1x63 yard (went to failure)

1000 yard back carry, "sprinted" 50 yards on each lap (5 sprints)

Stretch

All done with 100# sandbag except the farmers walks, those were done with two cinder blocks (pinch grip)
Set out to do OHC but couldn't press the bag overhead, guess I'm not quite 100% yet.
Had to hook the cinder blocks over my forearms to put them up, my hands were done!

Thanks fellas!

WU

135# Sandbag shouldering- 20 min. AMRAP
10 Reps

Didn't have it tonight.

Ended the Daily Pushup/Squat thing at 46. My joints were starting to feel really creaky. On the plus side I did a ton of squats and pushups over the month and a half.

I'm into the slow part of year work wise so I'm going to switch things up to
Day one -20min sandbag shouldering
Day two - heavy carries
Day three - 20 minutes of bearhug squats
Day four - Conditioning - Calesthenics - play around with all my stuff

If I don't get four workouts in a week this time of year then I'm just plain lazy

1x100 yard, 1x50 yard, 1x44 yard

Back carry 100# Bag - 560 yards (3 laps), jogged 50 yards at the beginning of each lap

Had a little left so I did 15 swings with my Bulgarian Bag

It finally got cold here (32 F at time of workout) first time to wear sweats and a watch cap this year. Cold air felt good in the lungs

I made a "heavy" sandbag slash sand filled gym bag of sorts, a long time ago, when I had the wild hair to do that shouldering stuff you manly men do. Now it's just in THE WAY, each time I have to pull the mower out of the garage...I struggle just to move that thing and you're tossing around a hundy pounder like nothing.

There's strong, then there's Brahma strong.

Are you guys going to get Whacked with that big Thanksgiving storm??

20 Minutes AMRAP Shoulder 135# bag - 12 Reps

When I got 21 reps on this a couple of weeks ago the zipper split. I had to take out about half the gravel, fix the zipper and load it back up. Since then the bag is longer and looser and way harder to get up.

WU
8 Tabata rounds jumprope
8 Tabata rounds sledgehammer strikes 12#

3 supersets
1 neg chinups
10 Pushups

3 supersets
planks :37, :35, :25
10 Russian twist 25# med ball

Isometrics - boxer neck execises

100 Yards - Throw med ball, run to it, pick it up and throw it again

COC trainer -Trainer 10 lr, #1 3x3 lr, Trainer 5 lr

Did the 100 yard med ball throw and sprint on a whim since this is my fun training session. Got super gassed, might throw these in on heavy carry nights as a finisher

First time to really work with the COC #1, got it a couple of weeks ago but I had some small cuts on my fingers that made it too painful to use until now. Hats off to Mongo for his work with these, the number one is way harder than the trainer.

Planking planks weren't that great, my hips, hammies and glutes gave out before my gut. Still toasted from squats yesterday.
