Was the first time out with the pack. Did well. Though, note to myself: Always check if the light is on when resuming a ride. In between 5 other riders I didn't even notice, that I forgot to turn my light back on, but as the trails got narrower, I realised it and as I wanted to turn it back on, I flew over a stump.

As I was up again, my bike was leaning against said stump. I just bumped into the obstacle with my right foot, which immediately stets the bike to a stand. I flew into the woods.

I was really annoyed about that stupid mistake, but still took a sour win out of it. I just managed to catch the fall so well, I only ended up with a slightly bruised toe, light scraping of the right shin and an oh so light bruised left quad. Actually it's not worth to mention. I picked up my bike which leant there just fine, switched my light on and resumed grumpily the ride.

I assume my falls are mostly lucky ones, because, I'm used to fall off my bike and I had Taekwondo lessons as a kid.

Thanks Bill, probably. However I would have been pretty angry, if I would have ruined the derailleur or shifter with that stupidity, but luckily I did not.

We rode with veteran cars, stumbled through a dark museum with flashlights and ate churros. I could've dome more, but I called it a day (or night) when the kids were tired and we went home.

Thanks Cesar, I used balm/ wax, but since I can't stand the woody scent anymore, I only use beard oil. I used it daily after the shower, but since it's also the woody scent, I only use it every other day.

I just ordered a plain jojoba oil and soon my relatives show up from Germany, bringing beard soap and oil with a different smell.

The woody smell is nice, but every day, nah!

I stopped trimming the stache 10 weeks ago and only trained it to the sides. Now it just stays there and the tips are curling up by themselves. However I'd prefer if they just sweep away to the sides.

First it's annoying, but soon the hair just pars and gets out of the way. More convenient than the trimming. And it looks better too imho.
The picture was just taken after installing the light in the living room and a light surface trim with scissors. I cleaned up the neck and cheekline, not sacrificing length.

On Thursday I get my hair cut - again. I'll update with my week 16 and fresh haircut - not that there is much to cut anyway.

Yes, I'm just into more pulling, weighted or not. The clothes are not that bulky anymore. I thought, I just use every opportunity from now on again, even adding some random weight. Alas the long walks are over for now, weather is bad atm. And Flora prefers to cycle or just to play in the garden if the weather is good.

I try to compensate with shovelgloving, pull ups in the garden or swings and goblet squats. The 16 kg KB sits on the terrace.

Guys, I have to check your threads asap. The kids are keeping me quite busy atm.

Oh my, a rainy and busy week went by and a nice one and not less busy came. Epic 3 1/2 mtb ride - gasp! Still recovering, lacking updates, not lacking training though.

Went out for 3 hours on my bike, geocaching.
The GPS said I was 100 min on the move while being out.
That was a good decision, because before another meet up with the gang I wanted to do a ride with my platform pedals. That was a smart move, because as I left it was raining and my 5.10 all weather shoes don’t get wet.
By the time I would usually ride to our meeting place it was raining unpleasantly, which means, I would’ve stayed at home most likely.
But I was in the woods, later the rain stopped and overall it was a nice riding, crawling, climbing and searching experience.
