Thanks Dave. Haven't been as consistent as I would like the last couple of weeks, but we're fixing that right now!

WU

5 rounds
5 goblet squats 24kg KB
20 med ball slams - 20 lb. med ball

3x100 yards OHC 100 lb. SB

Who knew carries could be so lucrative, after the first 100 a neighbor stopped and asked about repairing a patio door. After the 2nd 100 another neighbor stopped and asked about a new window. :eyebrows:

WU

Snatches 16 kg KB - 15:15 - 43 sets

Took me a while to loosen up tonight, hit a lot of 6's in the early sets.
I also realized tonight that I will rest my forearm on my thigh as I go down. I think subconsciously I'm protecting my back. Once I notice it and drop the arm to the side I get more hip into it and can snatch faster.

Stretching and Mobility work

5 rounds
4 way boxer neck
isometric pulls
isometric pushes

Had a long hard day and got home late with my back tight as @#$%. Wanted to get something in without making it worse, thus the isometrics. Back felt better when I finished and I still got my pushing and pulling in. Held each position for 10 -15 mississippis.

It's hard to find the balance sometimes. I haven't trained at all this week, but I'm not feeling guilty about because the work load has been real heavy and I've come home late and feeling pretty beat up. Where it gets tough for me is discerning whether I'm really too burned physically to train or if I'm just being a lazy wimp and using that for an excuse. :crybaby:

I find when I get older I am a lot better at listening to my body and adjusting what I do up or down given the signals.  When I was younger, I'll just train through things and get injured or over-train.

So far as being lazy, I think that can be easy to do at any age for many people, myself included at times.

Hey Bill,
are you doing the traditional protocol?
Meaning 3 reps, rest 10 secs, 3 reps...until you can no longer do 3 reps and then move to 20 sec rest, continue until no longer able to do 3 reps and then 30 sec rest and so on for the entire 15 mins?

I'm a "counter". I used to count everything. When going across the US in a car (3X) as a kid, I started counting things to pass the time. Telephone poles, white lines, cars vs trucks, you name it.
So, I count my steps down the driveway. I know how many steps it is if I take it indoors. Just a thought. I don't think OCD is in play here .....

WU
20 set of snatches 15:15 - 16 kg KB

Rode hard and put up wet today, then I had to crawl under the house and unclog a pipe as soon as I got home. I'm calling this a win though, I hit all 4 scheduled workouts this week :pbjt:
I figure 10:00 minutes of snatching is better than no snatching at all.

WU

20 minutes Armor Building - 120# SB Got 8 reps in 17 minutes
1 rep = Shoulder Left, Bearhug squat, shoulder right, bearhug squat

3x 10 Janda situps, 10 Russian twists

3x100 yard throw and chase 20 lb Med Ball

Hadn't done the throw and chase in a while, when I did them before, I'd have my hands on my knees gasping for breath after 3x100. Tonight they didn't seem so bad.

This is the last one for this log. I've spent some time thinking and refocusing the last week or so. I'm going to go ahead and start my 2015 log.
