IF you're trying to stay organized this year

Post by MF! on Sun Jan 05, 2014 4:38 pm

Interesting idea. My friend showed me this the other day and I thought it was pretty cool, but really tedious. She sees me as a type A, but I don't think I have nearly enough dedication to be this organized....

It was too involved for my old brain. I use a string around my finger. One thing at a time, baby!

"If it's stupid, but it works, it's not stupid." I myself use a moleskin notebook for workouts, goals, reminders, numbers, names, schedule, ETC, and I'll say I'd be wholly lost without it. Pen and paper should always be on hand in my opinion.

Agreed! Worked for thousands of year before us, and will work after the internet is down -which won't be long after the US turns it over to "others".

Meh…

It's OK, but my events would kill the calendar page! In general, I would spend way too much time adding items to my todo list to get them done. I do keep some lists of things, but I only allow myself to write down really high priority items, otherwise, the lists would get too unwieldy. There are always dozens of smaller things that need to get done but are either not urgent or not important enough that I have to do them right away.

I mostly keep track of things electronically, but I could always go back to the good ol' pen and paper if Mike's prophetic vision should be realized.

Took at look at this yesterday and began today. I like it and find it effective. It is very rewarding to see all the check marks for completion. Like it was said in the video - difference between being busy and productive. And today I have been productive!
