Still doing a lot of pushing. Have you made any progress on incorporating more pulling? How is the shoulder?

Have not done much pulling - some high pulls with KB and some rows with kb.  
Shoulder is on and off - it is tight most mornings and once I warm it up, it is better.
I need to get out to the garage and get some pull ups, horizontal rows and some swings/high pulls done.  
I think I will focus on the pull ups first though.

I forgot to mention that last evening, while playing with the boys, I decided to do some regular push ups - didn't bother me much and some hindu push ups with the boys on my back. They were fun and thought that i would not be able to do much - and surprised myself.

Keep that up and eventually you'll be doing hindu pushups with +150 pounds resistance - per child!  :mrgreen:

LOL. I was getting ready to run errands and realized I had not done them and did not want to fall behind as I knew I would not be able to get them done in the evening. The thought popped in my head as soon as I got in the shower. I tried one rep to make sure I had enough room and then did 99 more.

TRAINING ADHD

So Dave asked what is my resolution for 2015.  I thought goal.
I thought, let's get vertical.  Not sure how my shoulder will do with that, Hey, No guts, No glory, right?
Then once the cape came off, I thought, I don't want to get brokener.  SO we will take it in small strides.  
Then I stumbled across [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] so I thought what about just bridging daily for 5 mins per day = 1825 minutes in a year.  Then again I thought, another way to get brokener - I am a little hard headed and often want to go overboard.  Anyway, pistol?
I still have no idea what I would like to focus on.  I can keep being Mr.ConsistentMan, the question is in doing what?

doing something different every day is pretty interesting thought as well.

137 (DIFFERENT kinds of) burpees a day will net you 50,005.

100 hindu squats in 2:00

15 hindu push ups x 2
note: that's a total of 50 hindu push ups for the day.

Pull ups EMTOM;
5 pull ups per min for first 4 mins = 20
4 pull ups during 5th min = 4
3 pull ups per min from 6th to 10th min = 15
Total of 39 pull ups in 10:00. Pull ups are super weak. Each min would start strong, neutral grip, chin over bar for 1-3 reps then 4-5 nose over bar. Same pattern at every min. Also i would do one, let go of bar, regrip do another, and so on.

finisher: a shot of espresso.

I've been casting about myself for some neck strengthening exercises that don't involve putting plates on one's face or using one of those horrible neck machines or a leather head harness, which my gym doesn't have anyway, and reading your log made me remember that I used to do bridges myself, though I used to use my hands.

Bridges are great. they feel really good and take care of your posterior chain. go easy on them when you start. just hold them, for time.
