Yeah that barefoot thing for squats and deads is surprising. Struggled with 110kg for a squat with my gym running shoes because my heel kept creeping up, then I went barefoot and it felt like 40kg lighter (exaggeration but yeah).

Thursday upper "Dumbell day"

Weighted dips
-4x8 w/ 15kg

Weighted pullups
-4x6 w/ 15kg

Dumbell flat press
-4x8 w/ 30kg dumbells

Dumbell row
-4x10 w/ 32kg dumbells

Dumbell overhead press
-4x8 w/ 22kg dumbells

Lateral raises
4x10 w/ 10kg dumbells

I am now switching to a more bodybuilding approach to an upper lower split, one barbell day and one Dumbell day for upper. And low volume with swimming day then high volume day for lower. Woop.

Ahh man crazy times. Forgot to log my workouts but I hate all PR this week.

Bench 100kg for reps

Deadlift 140kg raw reps and sets

Squat 120kg for reps

Barbellrow 90kg for reps and sets


Haha today I finally failed in te squat rack, tried to get one more out of the 120kg squat and fell in the rack, right on my ass.

Yeah thanks, just fell and sat on my bum, then slipped out from behind the bar. Bar bounced on the rack a lil and everyone stared. But it was alright.

Sorry guys haven't been posting much, I'm so busy with everything lately I don't have much time to myself.

Anyway update.

BW 82kg
BF 14%

Bench BWx1.25 for reps and sets
Deadlift BWx2 for reps but not sets
Squat BWx1.5 for reps and sets
OHP BWx0.75 for reps and sets
Row BWx1.25+ for reps and sets

Quite proud of myself really, only been at the gym for 5 months. Started at 74kg 14% and now at 82kg 14%.
