Long, Hot, humid day. Driving home I wasn't sure I'd have it in me. Ate an orange and drank 2 liters of water and was good to go...sort of.

Incline pushups 23, 16, 16
Frog raises 13, 7, 8 (Thinking about changing the name to F'ng frog raises, that 4 second negative is a bear!)

Horizontal rows - 12, 8, 9, 7, 7 kept the cadence nice and slow

Swings!
16 Kg 10/10 made a few attempts at KB juggling. Hilarious! Not as easy as it looks
24 kg 15/15
32 kg 5x 10/10

Archer rows 32 kg 3x10/10
Toe raises 35,30,30 toes up on 2x4

Deadhang 12 sec., 7 sec., 5 sec.

20 minutes of loaded carries - mixed it up and did whatever i felt like doing-
100 yards Mixed carry - 100 lb SB shoulder 32kg KB suitcase 50l/50r
50 yards overhead - 100 lb SB
50 yard rack carry - 32 kg KB 25l/25r
75 yard Bearhug carry 100 lb SB -

10 rounds of :15/:15 Snatches - 16kg KB 7 reps per set

Supposed to do sandbag shouldering tonight but we had huge storms rolling through this evening.
Improvised inside
10 minutes - OHP 5/5 on the minute 16 kg KB.
14 minutes - cleans 5/5 on the minute 24kg KB

3 rounds -
Flat frog raises - 5,4,5 - :4 sec neg
Straight bridges - 10, 6, 5 - :3 sec hold at top
4 way boxer neck - :10 sec. holds


I never answer the phone when I'm training but....4 minutes in to the cleans it started ringing off the wall. Scored one new job and a promising appt. later in the week :dance: I do love hustling up new business. So I started over on the cleans - thus the 14 minutes.

Ran across this last week and thought I'd give it a try

"The Hellion"

2 hand swings
swings
snatches
squat to overhead press

all done for 2 reps each side, then 4,6,8 and 10. I did them all with a 16kg KB.
ran up through six reps pretty quick but then had to take a couple of minutes rest between the last two rounds.
14:05 total

Lots of bang for your buck if you're short on time.

Work load has been really heavy since the Hurricane last month. I've left my suspension trainer set up in the driveway. I hit a set of Horizontal rows every time I walk by. I've also been doing some isometric work and my daily mobility. Other than that training has been sparse and sporadic. It's that time of year were I regroup and plan for the next, so this is going to do it for this training log.
