Split Jacks w/ 10lbs in each hand
Skater Jumps w/ 10lbs in each hand
One-Leg Deadlifts Left w/ 10lbs in each hand
One-Leg Deadlifts Right w/ 10lbs in each hand
Step Jumps w/ 10lbs in each hand
Lateral Step Jumps w/ 10lbs in each hand
10 s on 10 s rest
24 s rest between rounds
6 rounds

10 min yoga

Great way to start the week!

Nothing better than finding a workout balance that leaves you feeling recharged and rather than broken.  Great way to start the week for sure !

I will definitely be looking at working in some One-Leg  Deadlifts  into  my swing warmups.  Should  work well with prying Goblet Squats.

OK, I only managed the one workout last week because I traveled the rest of the week. :oops: Now, however, I am back at it. I'm done traveling and ready to get back into the groove. I had a tough time this morning because my back is out from too much time on an airplane, but I will see the chiro today, which should set me straight. Then I will be back at it full bore!

Too much travel, too much hip pain, not enough HIIT!

So, now I am better and back at it...

2 mile hike

45 min Yoga

HIIT
20, 15, 10, 5 descending reps each exercise with 1 min rest in between sets
Burpees
Knee Thrust Right
Knee Thrust Left
Jumping Jacks


It was a great workout today. I am glad to be getting back to a routine. I need to catch up on what everyone else has been doing and get back to being a part of the community. This is a start!

Burpees
Plate Swings @ 25lbs

This was an intense set! The swings are the perfect complement to the burpees and really help to make the lungs burn. I also need to do more with the step ups. I have to train vertical so I can get ready for a backpacking trip to the mountains in a few months!

30 min step ups - 10 alternating jumps, 10 @ 40 lbs, 10 BW


Today
2 mile hike

20 min yoga

HIIT
EMOTM (one exercise per minute alternating minutes)
10 Burpees
10 Plate Swings @ 25lbs
10 minutes

Had a good meeting with my doc this week. I am in good health. I do need to manage my cholesterol a bit better, but it is not too bad and the rest of my diet, exercise, and health outlook is great. These workouts keep me moving!
